ARTWORK
My artistic practice explores hyperconsumption in the digital age, a phenomenon where not only products or images are consumed, but also people themselves as content. My work seeks to reveal how social media has capitalized intimacy, emotions and identity, transforming the self into a commodity.
I work with both biological and digital materials, from food to video art, to highlight the tensions between the organic and the virtual, the ephemeral and the archived, the everyday and the spectacular. This intersection allows me to examine the contradictions of our present: a world where food can be as disposable as a short video, and a body can be reduced to data, metrics, and “like”.
My interest lies in creating a critical pause within the speed of contemporary consumption. Each piece is an attempt to confront both the pleasure and discomfort that arise when facing the endless cycle of production, consumption, and discard; not only of objects, but of identities.
